MedEx is the can’t-miss event for medical professionals considering Aliyah!
The Israeli medical license transfer process is coming to you
MedEx is a groundbreaking event for medical professionals interested in Aliyah and working in Israel. Attendees will be able to streamline the otherwise difficult process through step-by-step guidance and support at the event. Meet with relevant Israeli Ministry of Health representatives to begin transferring your license, interview for jobs with Israeli health funds (Kupot Holim) and hospitals, network with a community of like minded individuals, chat with representatives from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration’s Physician Olim Directorate, and more – all under one roof.
Planning Aliyah long-term? MedEx still has much to offer. You’ll have a chance to meet with potential employers in Israel, learn about different communities in Israel, and discuss financial considerations related to Aliyah.

Only doctors planning to make Aliyah within the next two years are eligible to open their medical license application file on-site during MedEx. Representatives from the Israel Ministry of Health and from IMAP will be available to walk you through the process, and ensure that all of your questions – personal or professional – get answered. If you’re interested in doing this, please make sure to register for the event and you will receive a follow-up email later to sign up for a timeslot.
Please Note: During your appointment, you’ll be able to open a file with the relevant government agencies, but you will not receive the medical license on-site. Your license can ONLY be issued in Israel AFTER completing your Aliyah and becoming an Israeli citizen.
