The Can’t Miss Event for Aussie Doctors and Medical Practitioners!
MedEx is a groundbreaking event for doctors interested in Aliyah and working in Israel. Attendees will be able to streamline the otherwise difficult process through step-by-step guidance and support at the event. Meet with relevant Israeli Ministry of Health representatives to begin transferring your license, interview for jobs with Israeli health funds (Kupot Holim) and hospitals, network with a community of like minded individuals, and more – all under one roof.
Planning Aliyah long-term? MedEx still has much to offer. You’ll have a chance to meet with potential employers in Israel, learn about different communities in Israel, and discuss financial considerations related to Aliyah.
Everything you need to prepare for working in Israel – under one roof!
Land a job before landing in Israel! Representatives from various Israeli medical institutions and Kuppot Holim will available to interview you for potential job opportunities and share key insights about employment and networking in Israel.
Receive personalized support from IMAP Medical Licensing Advisors, who can help with troubleshooting your Israeli Medical Association (IMA) specialty recognition process.
Verify your physical documents on-site. Make sure to take advantage and bring a full set of copies of your documents. Have digital documents? We can help you verify them.
Applying for an Israeli medical license is geared towards doctors planning Aliyah in the next two years, and can be done on-site at MedEx. Representatives from the Israel Ministry of Health and from IMAP will be available to walk you through the process, and ensure that all of your questions – personal or professional – get answered. If you’re interested in doing this, please make sure to register for the event and you will receive a follow-up email later to sign up for a timeslot.
Please Note: During your appointment, you’ll be able to open a file with the relevant government agencies, but you will not receive the medical license on-site. Your license can ONLY be issued in Israel AFTER completing your Aliyah and becoming an Israeli citizen.
