Medical Medical In order to practice medicine in Israel, you are required to hold a license issued by the Division of Medical Professions of The Ministry of Health. We recommend that Olim begin the licensing process 1-2 years prior to Aliyah. Please note that you can do the process post-Aliyah as well. For support or assistance throughout the process, please be in touch with us at medpro@nbn.org.il.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> Medical Licensing Process for those with MD or DO Diplomas from: US, Canada, the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and France.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div> Someone who has completed their studies at a recognized medical school in one of the above mentioned countries and did one year of internship or clinical work (the length depends on your specialty) will likely be eligible to obtain an Israeli medical license. If you completed your license elsewhere, the process will be similar but may require more documents.
